The Good Farm
The Good Farm milks cows daily for the specialised supply of raw, fresh chilled milk, to the public.
Watch as the farmer brings in a cow for it to be machine milked for this supply. Visit the Good Farm organic no-till vegetable garden. Pick and taste the vegetables and watch the resident chef prepare a quick taster. Walk through the native tree plantings.
Papamoa Hills
You will visit the Summerhills Estate, a private boutique golf course situated on the top of the Papamoa Hills, NZ’s largest Archaeological Complex. See the easily visible old fortification terracing as you drive to the golf course on top of the Hills. Morning teas will be served in the delightful kiosk at the golf course, while enjoying the commanding views of the city and the Bay of Plenty coastline
Black Stump Berries
Sit under the trees overlooking the strawberry patches enjoy the taste of freshly picked berries and especially the homemade berry ice cream.
Original Commercial Kiwifruit Vines
Walk under the 85 year old vines, which are still producing export quality kiwifruit today. Learn how the $3 billion industry started on this small property
Marine Parade and Pilot Bay
Return to the ship via the oceanside surf beach at Mt Maunganui and along the harbourside bay leading to the pier.
